Main Role: Advanced and new product development for Charge Point’s latest generation of AC charger, the ‘Home Flex Plus’, as well as developing the larger DC infrastructure products. Responsibilities: • Engaged in hands-on design tasks including concept generation, part and assembly design, model making and ergonomic studies. • UI design and implementation. • Ensuring compliance with UL, IEC, and regional testing requirements.
Main Role: Spearheaded the delivery of the Pinter 3, achieving a 50% cost reduction and a significant decline in defect rates, compared to its predecessor. Responsibilities: • Managed supplier selection and liaison to ensure high-quality components. • Led assembly and part design optimization, focusing on tooling validation. • Research and verification of new materials and manufacturing methods. • Implemented best practices in engineering documentation and quality control across the team.
Main Role: Overseeing inter-departmental collaboration in the construction and costing of Ninja and Shark UI; in a role proposed by myself in order to better fulfill the company’s now and future requirements, as we continue to see record growth. Achievements: - During the 2020-21 development cycle identified and implemented cost savings of an estimated 4.5 million USD, through a combination of informed design and strong cooperation with electronic, purchasing and ID teams. - Reduced UI development time by the introduction of standalone UIs and fast track cost simulations intended for allow for rapid evaluation and design execution. - Implemented multiple new technologies to the SharkNinja UI portfolio, providing a springboard to the next generation of UX. - Building design guides to assist and educate engineering and ID teams in the construction of UIs. - 2020 Design Innovation Award (SharkNinja Internal Award) - The Ninja® Foodi™ Digital Air Fry Oven - Red Dot 2019 - Ninja CP307 Hot & Cold Brewing System
