About

I’m a BU P&L owner in advanced materials and automotive who led a business through a full transformation—repositioning a legacy textiles “side” unit into an engineered automotive supplier and delivering more than 100% revenue growth with strong, sustained margin expansion in a cost-down environment. My work sits at the intersection of operational rigor, commercial excellence, and PE-backed value creation for OEMs, Tier-1s, and industrial customers. In that role I: Repositioned the business from commodity textiles to engineered automotive solutions, shifting mix toward higher-value, technically demanding applications. Won and defended mission-critical platforms with multiple global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, displacing an entrenched incumbent and becoming a preferred partner for complex thermal/acoustic systems. Structured a multi-year long-term agreement with right-of-first-refusal (ROFR) and volume triggers in an aggressive cost-down environment, improving pricing quality, margin resilience, and revenue visibility. Secured an eight-figure PE-backed capex program with a sub–two-year payback to acquire and scale a carve-out-ready auto JIT plant (APQP/PPAP), vertically integrating key processes and de-risking future carve-out options. Built an automotive-grade digital QMS from scratch and led lean initiatives that reduced scrap, stabilized launches, and gave OEMs the confidence to award and ramp mission-critical platforms. Beyond that BU role, I’ve held commercial and operations leadership positions across advanced materials, nonwovens, bedding, and industrial markets, including work on: Market entry and partnership strategies that use capital-light models to prove demand before local capex. Pricing logic, key account management design, and portfolio positioning for complex B2B environments. A global Commercial Excellence / KAM transformation, working closely with a top-tier strategy firm on design and implementation. I thrive where strategy meets execution—using structured analysis, cross-functional leadership, and clear governance to turn underperforming or under-positioned assets into durable, high-margin growth engines.
