About

Hello, I'm a 3rd-year college student at the University of Washington, majoring in Information Technology . Growing up, technology wasn't just a tool for me; it was a companion that shaped my outlook on life. Through hands-on learning and formal education, I've come to deeply appreciate its power to transform. As a member of the Somali Muslim community, I've seen firsthand how technology can empower us collectively. Inspired by my parents' sacrifices, I feel a duty to give back to my community using the tools at hand. Now, at the University of Washington, I'm eager to delve into the world of information technology, driven by a desire to make a difference. My goal is to use technology not just for personal success, but also to uplift those around me and create positive change in society.
