Walter Allen has worked with federal, state, regional, and local governmental agencies for more than 30 years in the areas of transportation, land use, and air quality planning. He has been involved in numerous aspects of transportation planning, including project management, transportation planning and programming, regional plan development, interagency coordination, stakeholder engagement process, public outreach, citizen’s advisory committees, transit program administration, complete streets project development, contract administration, federal-aid project delivery, and rail project management.
Walter Allen has worked with local/regional/state/federal governmental agencies and private companies for more than 30 years in all areas of transportation agency and transit program management; grant administration, human resources, project delivery, multi-modal planning, sub-consultant oversight, regional planning, inter-agency coordination, contract administration, and public outreach. Mr. Allen seeks to utilize his experience and knowledge to deliver transportation projects and manage transportation programs.
I managed the Customer Service aspect of the Employee Shuttle program at Facebook from for 7 months. Working for Allied PRA, under contract with Facebook, I was responsible for managing more that 50 full-time and part-time employees.
While working for Parsons, Walter Allen has provided transportation planning services for the Thomas Roads Improvement Program, where Parsons provides program management services for the City of Bakersfield. His work has included including Financial Plan development and updates, regional plan updates, publications for public outreach, and assistance with federal-aid project delivery.
