Clemens joined Walker Hamill in 2021 and is a Consultant, with a focus on private equity and growth capital roles, particularly across the DACH region. He has worked with candidates from a broad range of backgrounds including private equity, M&A/investment banking and strategy consulting. Prior to joining Walker Hamill, Clemens was already familiar with the private equity recruiting landscape, working on searches at various levels and with a diverse range of funds. Clemens graduated with a degree in International Sports Management from accadis University.
Our Private Equity team is one of the largest and most experienced in Europe, with a track record spanning over three decades and thousands of successfully completed searches. We are proven experts across all levels of investment team hire – Associate, Principal and Partner – and also have extensive experience of hiring into investor relations, portfolio enhancement and fund finance and accounting teams. Our client base is particularly diverse and covers all types of GP and LP. We are active across Europe, and our team has fluency in most major European languages. We commit significant resource to extensive mapping of our target candidate pools and have developed a rigorous, search-based approach to all of our work, regardless of the level of candidate sought. Along with conventional recruitment and search work, we also assist private equity investors with bespoke remuneration surveys, advice on organisational structure and specific referencing assignments. Headquartered in London and with offices in continental Europe including Frankfurt, we manage permanent appointments, as well as interim, temporary and contract roles. As a wider business, we work across various other financial disciplines including accountancy & finance, corporate development & strategy, debt & structured finance and mergers & acquisitions.
