BU Integration for Tise
• Lead a global cross-functional team of 12 across Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and Analytics, fostering independent ownership of the end-to-end brand domain. • Build and Scale Brand Hub, eBay’s first global brand platform, empowering over 200 brands to grow across Big 4 markets and driving an 11% increase in authorized seller GMV. • Define the Brand Experience strategy through the Brand Hub, fueling brand-funded investments, new business models, and sustainable growth. • Develop partnership models across Ads, Web3, and Monetization product teams to deliver a unified experience for brands across all markets. • Led development of eBay’s first Carbon Hub, increasing pre-loved purchases by 0.5 pp among enthusiasts and earning favorable analyst recognition for eBay’s sustainability leadership. • Launched and scaled an influencer commerce pilot with 20 creators reaching over 1.2 million followers, connecting their posts directly to eBay inventory.
• Successfully headed the multi-million-euro development of the SalonLab Smart Analyzer, Henkel Beauty Care's first IoT device and companion app by orchestrating a cross-functional team in the fields of UX, Hardware, Software, R&D and Marketing in an agile framework. • Integrated a scalable, platform-based approach for product development to drive digital transformation under Henkel’s new digital unit, Henkel dx, with a saving potential of 5 M EUR • Developed a connected product innovation strategy to facilitate delivery of digital products and services, adding more value to the beauty consumer journey. • Developed and implemented digital business models, go-to-market strategies, and investment plans for a tech D2C strategy, identifying new revenue streams for the beauty care unit. • Secured a strong open innovation pipeline by identifying targets for Henkel’s corporate venture fund that provide unique technologies in the beauty tech space.
• Lead the global closing activities for the beauty business by closely collaborating with regional teams and finance, ensuring proper and timely reporting of business results to investors and other stakeholders. • Partnered with business to prepare board-level management presentations, outlining business performance and strategic outlook. • Managed the global medium and long-term budget of the global beauty business, by aligning corporate strategy with regional finance teams. • Devised brand and goodwill impairment testing for Henkel Beauty Care to ensure that business valuation is correctly assessed.
• Successfully Lead the due diligence and finance integration of two acquired brands from P&G with an annual turnover of 70 M€. • Lead the Beauty business out of the Egypt hard currency crisis, leading a cross-disciplinary team of marketing, supply chain, purchasing, tax and treasury. • Steered the regional forecast for MEA beauty business by partnering with local controllers and regional management.
