Managing the transition of the Logistics Service provider for the NHS Supply Chain
Providing Logistics / Supply Chain expertise to Epscot Clients.
Initial project to manage the operational aspects of the new Regional Distribution Centre (147k sq ft) in Bury St Edmunds. Site went live (June 2020) in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic, providing additional capacity for the NHS Supplychain. Transition of customers to the new site went seamless during the 10 week period. Operational Project Lead for the implementation of the proposed new WMS for the NHS Distribution Centres.
Project Manager looking after phase 4 (Logistics) of the Transformation Program delivering significant savings for the NHS. Participated in the procurement of the NHS Logistics contract (evaluator and final business submission to the DHSC). Oversaw the successful transition from the incumbent (DHL) to the new logistics provider (Unipart).
