I build learning solutions that deliver results. I’ve spent the last 10+ years developing learning products, with a mix of product thinking and UX layered in. Most “learning solutions” fail for the same reason bad products do—they fail to solve the real problem for the user. So, I focus on the outcomes: what people do differently after. I partner with senior leaders to solve business problems through the lens of learning. Together, we ensure our solutions translate directly into business outcomes. What’s important to me is that we deliver results that actually move the needle, not just launch programmes that look good. Right now, I lead the Learning Team building future-skills solutions for enterprises and nationwide workforce programmes. Along the way, we’ve: ✅ Grown catalogue revenue 4x (by building things people will pay for) ✅ Defined a learning blueprint that sets the standard for quality (so we know what good looks like) ✅ Reworked workflows with AI (so we can scale output and stay competitive) I also cook well enough that people show up to potlucks.
I lead the learning team to scale Excelerate’s impact, moving beyond traditional training into new products and new markets. Current focuses: ✅ Developing the roadmap of the Excelerate catalogue as informed by market trends and corporate L&D demands to ensure our offerings hit the target for future-critical skills. ✅ Optimising product development by redesigning workflows, integrating AI solutions, and upskilling the team to handle more complex builds. ✅ Building diverse learning products that go beyond standard training modules to address broader workforce challenges.
I led the learning design team to build and grow the Excelerate catalogue, focusing on both technical and leadership upskilling products. Highlights: ✅ Developed Excelerate’s future skills courses (AI, data, cybersecurity, management) for corporate L&D initiatives and nationwide workforce upskilling, reaching up to 2,500 learners. ✅ Scaled course revenue by over 4X, increasing the catalogue’s share of total company revenue from 24% to 65%. ✅ Implemented a learning design blueprint that standardised quality and led the adoption of AI-enabled workflows to optimise content production.
I develop the strategies and run the programs for Maxis’ flagship digital education effort. I bridge the gap between digital tools and the underserved communities in Malaysia that the "digital revolution" usually leaves behind. Highlights: ✅ Developed user acquisition strategies, including marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives, resulting in 35,000+ new eKelas users and achieving 110% of targetted KPI. ✅ Led nationwide learning programs, including HIPMaX StoryFest (11,500+ participants, 35% YOY growth) and Misi Jelajah Digital (7,299+ participants, 264% YOY growth), enhancing student participation and preparing them for real-world skills in communication and technology.
I lead a global team to (1) boost engagement across a network of 100,000 alumni, (2) curate leadership development offerings that move alumni into influential roles, and (3) grow the organization’s positioning as a global voice in education. Highlights: ✅ Increased global participation by 275% by mobilizing 200+ "Network Connectors" and launching a self-organizing fund that supported 1,100 alumni to drive cross-border collaboration. ✅ Established global communities of practice for leadership pathways including social entrepreneurship, policy making, school leadership, and coaching. ✅ Founded the Teaching Without Internet Alliance, a digital equity initiative that enabled 20,000 teachers in low-bandwidth regions to continue delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. ✅ Enhanced regional influence in the Asia-Pacific by convening 200+ education leaders at the Future of Learning Summit to highlight the systemic impact of the alumni.
As the regional CEO, I developed the regional strategy and led the TFM program in Johor. By 2019, I scaled our programme to 100+ teachers and alumni, turning the region into a high impact region that moved the needle for thousands of students. Highlights: ✅ Built impactful partnerships with regional stakeholders, driving cross-sector education projects that benefited 15,000 students across the state. ✅ Fundraised RM100,000 for local community impact while supporting broader efforts to achieve national fundraising KPIs. ✅ Directed professional development for 100+ teachers, curating leadership and teaching content that ensured a 100% program completion rate and classroom success. ✅ Redesigned the coaching framework to improve teacher support
I coached and trained Teach For Malaysia Fellows to develop their leadership and teaching skills. 100% of my coaching clients successfully completed the program and achieved their classroom outcomes and leadership goals. Highlights: ✅ Conceptualized and tested new coaching methods to deepen teacher impact. I documented these improved processes to train incoming coaches, ensuring high-quality, consistent delivery across the organization. ✅ Developed a Social Innovation module and integrated it into the LMS. This digitized shift scaled our delivery and enabled 29 community projects that positively impacted 2,500 students across Malaysia.
I taught English and Mathematics to secondary school students (Form 1 to Form 5) and developed community-based initiatives that bridged learning gaps. This was part of the Teach For Malaysia 2-year Fellowship. Highlights: ✅ Increased students' overall academic achievement from 65% to 72%. ✅ Led a school-wide implementation of project-based learning (PBL) in Form 4 English classes. My action research discovered how PBL can be used to increase student motivation and resilience. ✅ Founded ScienceCenter, an afterschool program teaching Design Thinking and coding. All 24 students achieved the program objectives, with 3 students winning first place in the National Young Innovator Challenge.
