Research assistant for the mixed group of Evolutionary Genetics of the Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Statistics of the Faculty of Biology (UB) and CEAB-CSIC. Main tasks: performing high-quality (RNA-free) genomic DNA extractions, obtaining of genomic libraries, optimization of the protocols, population genetic studies using bioinformatic analysis, writing, and laboratory maintenance.
Theoretical-practical classes in the courses of 'Biologia de poblacions' and 'Enginyeria Genètica' of the bachelor degree of Biology (Faculty of Biology, University of Barcelona)
- Pre-clinical assays using zebrafish as a model, working under GLP-like regulatory. - Management: Project, Laboratory and Teams. - Protocols optimization, participation in R&D projects. - Drafting of documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - General molecular biology, microbiology or histology methodologies (PCR; electrophoresis gels; primer design; genomic DNA extraction, purification and quantification; bacterial transformation, plasmid DNA miniprep and maxipreps; In situ hybridizations). - Gene-editing design in Zebrafish based on CRISPR/Cas9 technique. - In vitro injections of Zebrafish one-cell embryos for the generation of mutants (using the CRISPR/Cas9 technique) and transgenic lines (using Tol2 transposase).

Teaching expert at the 'Centre d'Educació Ambiental Ecometròpoli' (Santa Coloma de Gramenet). Environmental awareness of the public in general, but the children of primary school in particular; elaboration and development of divulgative activities about the flora and fauna of both 'Serralada de Marina' and 'Parc Fluvial del Besòs'; guided visits around the different Ecometropoli's educational spaces.
Post-doctoral research assistance in 'Fundació Bosch i Gimpera', carrying out genetic studies of the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) and the loggerhead sea turtle ('tortuga boba' Caretta caretta).
