-Drives technical strategy, product design, and technical team to meet customer and business critical needs/requirement by using robust process, aligning all technical functions, and taking smart risks More specifically, you will: -Technical feasibility, profitability, and timing impact evaluation -Set technical requirements, strategy & executable path. -Ensure alignment of technical Senior Management & stakeholders for technical progress, decisions, risks, and support needed -Define technical resource needs and skills, define external budget with functional managers -Align all technical functions, ensure technical team has what they need, resolve conflicts and improve collaboration and communication mechanisms -Continuously challenge assumptions and results to optimize cost-quality-time to market -Proactively identify key technical risks and backup options to improve project timeline/success -Create a climate that stimulates team to innovate and use new technologies balanced with accountability to critical business needs -•Ensure selected design options are robust by defining adequate design and process space and by organizing, conducting, and supporting design leads for robust technical reviews
