Most law and accounting graduates pick one. I am planning on building a career at the intersection of both, and I have already started. I am a first-year Bachelor of Business student at the University of Technology Sydney, specialising in Accounting and Business Law. Recognised for academic excellence as a recipient of both the UTS Academic Excellence International Scholarship and the Global Future Ready Merit (GFRM) Scholarship from GIIS Singapore, I bring a strong foundation of intellectual rigour and global perspective to everything I do. A graduate of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, I was trained to think critically, communicate across cultures, and tackle complex, real-world problems, skills I carry directly into my business studies and professional pursuits. I have already gained practical exposure to the corporate legal world through an internship at Tata Communications, where I observed the legal team and learned about contract review, compliance documentation, and regulatory research in a multinational environment. My ambition is to build a career at the intersection of accounting and law. I am actively seeking internship opportunities, case competitions, and meaningful professional connections to accelerate that journey.
