I'm a software engineer at Google Research, where I conduct research and write code for large scale Machine Learning problems. Prior to that I used to be a quantitative researcher at The Voleon Group, where I conducted machine learning research, and I created software to forecast the stock markets, and mitigate risks and exposures. I also hold a PhD in computer science, with a designated emphasis in statistics, from the University of California, Berkeley, where my research was about probability, statistics, and machine learning.
