I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2026, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons). Over my years of Internship experience, coupled with my formal legal education, I have grown an immense interest and appreciation in the area of Litigation and Dispute Resolution. I hope to specialise in the field of professional and medical negligence. I look forward to being called to the bar as a Lawyer (NP) in 2028. To satisfy the requirements of the Singapore Bar, I will be commencing my Relevant Legal Training (“RLT”) in August 2026 within the Professional and Enterprise Disputes Practice of WongPartnership LLP. Thereafter, I will return to WongPartnership LLP in 2028 to complete my Practice Training Contract (“PTC”).
Commercial Litigation and Construction Internship - Drafted various research memorandums on the issue of civil procedure and offered suggestions on the strategies to counter the opposing counsel's submissions. - Aided in live case requiring research on garnishing the defendant's monies. I subsequently sat in for this hearing in the State Courts. - Assisted a Family Practice Partner in referencing Bundle of Documents and Affidavits.
Personal Injury and Family Law Internship. - Drafted various submissions to the State Courts and Family Justice Courts. - Exposed to the drafting of Letter of Demands (LODs), Agreed Statement of Facts (ASOFs) and Reply Affidavits. - Filed Annulment and Divorce Originating Applications. - Prepared several applications for Grant of Probates and Letter of Administration.
Commercial Litigation, International Arbitration and White Collar Crime Internship. - Attended State Court Hearings for a pro bono case on the retrieval of owed damages. - Attended a Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing at the High Court for the alleged complaints of misconduct by a Solicitor. - Shadowed Mr Abraham Vergis, S.C. during client meetings on White Collar Crime. - Completed multiple research tasks, supporting various associates in preparing submissions to Court. - Drafted Law Convention Speeches for my supervising lawyer.
Commercial Litigation, Construction and Arbitration Internship. - Tasked to conduct research on a variety of Adjudication and Construction matters. - Practiced drafting an affidavit. - Attended and took minutes for adjudication hearings.
