About

I am a second-year medical student at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) with a strong interest in neurosurgery, neuroscience, and biostatistics-driven clinical research. My long-term goal is to contribute to advancing brain science and neurosurgical care through both clinical excellence and research innovation. I have already begun to build an international academic profile: • Completed the Neuroscience Summer School in Istanbul with Distinction (20/20 final presentation). • Ongoing training in biostatistics and epidemiology through Johns Hopkins University Coursera certificates, including Summary Statistics in Public Health and Hypothesis Testing in Public Health. • Research experience in neurology and stroke projects, with a growing interest in applying data analysis, neuroimaging, and clinical outcomes research to neurosurgery. I am especially motivated by opportunities that connect quantitative research methods with clinical neuroscience. I enjoy working across disciplines, collaborating with clinicians and data scientists, and presenting findings clearly to both academic and clinical audiences. Currently, I am seeking opportunities to: • Join research projects in neurosurgery, neuroscience, or neuroimaging (remote or on-site). • Expand my expertise in clinical research methods and biostatistics. • Contribute to international collaborations where my motivation, research training, and communication skills can add value. Open to global research experiences (U.S., Europe, Japan) and eager to develop as a future academic neurosurgeon with a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine.
