Drive design and E2E deployment of a digital cloud-based planning landscape, including systems and processes. - Led the S&D global planning and appraisal process: reported KPIs, explained variances and cost drivers, prepared and reviewed budget, forecasts, latest estimates – improved data standardisation and optimised the number of senior KPI reports - Led the annual budgeting process for central teams and defended budget in challenge sessions with senior stakeholders - Led cost reduction initiatives in the area of primary transport – implemented a structural approach with an immediate business impact - Identified and implemented structural improvements in the working capital, with focus on stock management - Developed and improved reporting tools instrumental in margin variance analysis, latest estimates preparation, planning and budgeting
- Led a wholly-owned subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell as a management team member and general attorney – over a period of 3 years achieved continuous cost and revenue improvement - Owned finance and control framework, responsible for P&L, Balance Sheet, treasury, tax, audit. Successfully developed and implemented SOX controls, Manual of Authorities, Business Continuity Plan - Managed budget formulation and performance, provided operational and financial reports to senior stakeholders - Initiated and completed a number of recognised improvement projects: improvement of a cost-allocation mechanism, introduction of a cross-country OPEX reporting mechanism; implementation of a key accounts fee allocation mechanism
- Managed client acquisition process among banks, financial institutions, multilateral agencies - Developed financial and technical proposals for financial restructuring and banking advisory projects, led negotiations with existing and prospective clients, consortium partners and consultants - Managed on-going project execution – successfully completed 3 major projects with EC and EBRD and a number of client-funded projects in EMEA region
