Universities run on approval chains that live in email. I replace them with automation inside the systems they already own. At an R1 university's graduate school, I built the deferral automation that took request-to-decision from 1-2 weeks to 1-3 days across ~20,000 Slate application records. It's still in production, six months after I left. Stack: Technolutions Slate (certified) + JavaScript/SQL/REST + Power Automate/Make/Zapier, with the part most automation people skip: SOPs, training, and audit trails, so your team owns the system, not me. Open to full-time, contract, and consulting roles in higher-ed operations, CRM administration, and business automation.
Design and ship automation and AI workflows for small businesses and agencies: end-to-end triggers, multi-step logic, API/webhook integrations, and human-in-the-loop review gates. Built a fully automated weekly content pipeline (Zapier + ChatGPT + Notion API) that scores and routes 8 content ideas/week end-to-end, and an AI shared-inbox triage workflow (Power Automate) with confidence thresholds and no auto-send.
Designed and shipped production deferral automation in Technolutions Slate across ~20,000 graduate application records; request-to-decision time dropped from 1-2 weeks to 1-3 days Removed an estimated 10+ hours/week of staff coordination and manual data entry during peak periods; manual record-update errors dropped to near zero Built human-in-the-loop AI workflows (confidence gates, no auto-send, full audit logging) for inbox triage and routing serving ~500 faculty Delivered every system with SOPs, workflow maps, and staff training; systems still running six months after departure
