Maximizing Opportunities for Scientific and Academic Independent Careers (MOSAIC) (K99/R00 and UE5) This NIGMS-funded K99/R00 program is aimed at enhancing diversity within the academic biomedical research workforce and is designed to facilitate the transition of promising postdoctoral researchers from diverse backgrounds, for example individuals from groups underrepresented in the biomedical research workforce at the faculty level, into independent, tenure-track or equivalent research-intensive faculty positions.
PRAT is a competitive 3 year program with a funding mechanism similar to the extramural F32 system. The program offers incredible career-development opportunities, such as seminars from invited speakers and fellows themselves, as well as grant-writing and presentation training. We are supported through every step of the postdoctoral process, including a variety of career goals and options.
