Worked with the City Logistics team on the geocoding algorithm. ∙ Learned various approaches to solve geocoding problem and created a new geocoding algorithm for Flipkart which would predict the latitudelongitude of the customer delivery address with accuracy of 200 metres. ∙ This new algorithm successfully competed with one of the existing algorithm of Flipkart and searched for appropriate latitude-longitude from millions of address points in the database. ∙ Technologies Used - Python and Apache Solr
