Took a career break to invest in personal growth—writing a book and advancing my studies in multicultural environments and VUCA at Cambridge University. In parallel, undertook high-altitude mountaineering projects in Nepal, testing both physical and mental limits. Embraced new challenges to better support leaders in today’s dynamic landscape. As part of my relocation, launched my own leadership development initiative focused on helping leaders adapt to change, manage uncertainty, and drive sustainable growth while unlocking their full potential.
As a key stakeholder at GICHD, I collaborate with the Director to drive transformative change and instill a culture of excellence aligned with our core values. My responsibilities include: • Driving the Division's mission: Ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery of high-quality outputs. • Financial Management: Mobilizing resources and forecasting the Division’s finances while adhering to internal policies. • Team Development: Leading, coaching, and developing a diverse team of 10 across People, Conferences, and Administration, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect. • Process Improvement: Streamlining internal operations within the People & Culture Unit and clarifying team roles. • HR Innovations: Implementing an HRIS for efficient employee management and managing a 360 assessment pilot for leadership evaluation. • Policy Contributions: Engaging in the development of the Travel Safety and Security Policy, Crisis Management Protocol and many other relevant internal rules and regulations. • Sustainability & Wellness Initiatives: Leading the Carbon Footprint initiative to support our sustainability goals.
As the leader of the Learning and Development, Performance, and Compensation Unit, I managed a diverse team of four professionals across Seattle, New York, Beirut, and Toulouse. I lead the Global Compensation Philosophy Project in over 51 countries, collaborating closely with the Chief People Officer on divisional planning and ensuring compliance with international regulations. My strengths lie in coordinating team efforts and developing innovative strategies for learning, performance management, and compensation. By closely monitoring project progress and adhering to established standards, I became a valuable asset committed to advancing organizational objectives.
Managing the Training and Development, Performance, Compensation, T&A Systems and Internal Policies Unit.
I partnered with International country offices and regional hubs, supporting managers and leaders to drive strong organizational performance. I had the opportunity to establish new offices in Panama, Haiti, and Kenya, expanding our global presence. Additionally, I had the responsibility of overseeing HR operations and ensuring legal compliance in Colombia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Panama, Haiti, and Sweden. I also supported the implementation of HR processes in the USA and managed a regional project in Jordan. This role required me to travel approximately 30% of the time, allowing me to gain valuable insights and experiences in different contexts. My key responsabilites included: • Led the People Unit from local to global • Designed the People Unit strategy and Budget for 2020-2022 • Led the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee & Policy implementation • Member of the Culture Review and Legal Compliance Team • Conducted in country audits for the BEST-USAID and CTWWC Projects (Haiti and Moldova) • Analysis and Implementation of a Global Reward Project and Policy
