• Manage on site Directional Drilling operations utilizing company tools, processes, and software to successfully complete Horizontal, S-type, J-type, Multilateral, Gyro Kick offs, Cement/Open hole Kick offs, Casing/Open hole Whipstock and Vertical wells, using Rotary Steerable Systems like iCruise, GeoPilot and Mud Motors. • Performed BUS, several Horizontal Geosteering Jobs with iCruise flex/non-flex tool along with preparation, Pre & Post analysis and troubleshooting. The challenge to drill Geosteering in thin reservoir of 1-4ft with uncertain formation DIP. • Apply understanding of principles of BHA selection, MaxBHA, Torque & Drag analysis, Hydraulics analysis, Whirl Analysis, DoS Analysis and aspects of Directional Drilling performance ensuring that BHA’s are assembled as planned including correct make-up torque, doping and handling.

• Lead directional drilling operation in collaboration with the client: Well planning, Anticollision, Torque & Drag, Hydraulics, Vibration analysis, BHA analysis, Bit selection. • Lead jobs such as Multilateral, Geo steering, Horizontal, J-type, S-type well, Performance well, Gyro kick offs, Cement Kick offs, Open Hole Sidetracks, Vertical Correction wells and Whipstock sidetrack. • Lead Geo-Pilot (Rotary steerable tool) and V-Pilot Jobs. • Experience in Survey calculation, Projection of well path to pre-determined target coordinates, BHA design, Torque & Drag analysis, Hydraulics analysis, running Anti-collision software, Tool fishing diagram, Costs, Tools inventory and keeping track of day-to-day activity. • Assists the MWD/LWD personnel for any troubleshooting the surface or downhole issues. • As a competency assessor, deliver efficiency and skill based training to junior engineers to ensure maximum productivity.
• Lead on new tools run in the field for e.g. Geo-Pilot, ABI (At Bit Inclination) tool, ALD, EM Tool, EWR-M5 and BAT (Bi-model Acoustic) Sonic tools mainly run on Geosteering & Under balanced wells. • Performed numerous jobs in Electronic Survey System, Positive Pulse tools, Negative Pulse tools, e.g. Phase 4/M 5 Resistivity, DGR/AGR (Gamma), Pressure While Drilling, SLD/ALD (Azimuthal Litho Density), CNP/CTN (Porosity), BAT Sonic and ABI. Have run Numerous Slim Nuke jobs both using Positive Pulse and PPM (Positive Pulse Modulation). • Performed and lead EM (Electro Magnetic) jobs in the Oman. • Run DDS (Vibration) and PWD (Pressure While Drilling) tool. Provided valuable feedback with controlled drilling parameters, which helped in improved & smooth drilling. • Interpretation of MWD/LWD directional, drilling mechanics and formation evaluation as part of a service that assists the client in solving operational and drilling problems. • Provided training and supervision of new personnel on various job aspects. For e.g. tool build up, Software Usage and troubleshooting techniques. • Trained and make aware to the personnel about HSE issues especially while using radioactive sources.
• Measurement and Interpretation of oil and gas well data during drilling operations to facilitate necessary corrective action. Provide logs to customer, liaison between operating company representative and MWD department ensuring that proper service is provided to the customer. • Performed and Lead on Directional Gamma jobs. • Job responsibilities included, onsite training and appraisal of new engineers.
• Successfully installed, tested and commissioned Mud logging equipment’s. • Handled assembling, component level troubleshooting & repair of Electronic PCB’s. Troubleshooting and repair of Mudlogging equipment e.g. Total gas analyzer, Gas chromatograph, Data acquisition system, Mudlogging Sensors, UPS. • Installation, repair and maintenance of computers and its peripherals. • Contributed major role in designing and development of Gas panel systems.
