Vincenzo Quattrucci has more than 40 years of experience in engineering, with a strong focus on the energy industry. Since 1980, he has worked on a wide range of energy-related projects, making significant contributions across different sectors. His expertise includes offshore oil and gas operations — such as sealine deployment and the installation of platforms in both deep and shallow waters — as well as the management of ash handling systems in coal-fired power plants. At the same time, he has been involved in renewable energy, particularly in photovoltaic plant installations and the development of environmental control technologies, aiming to reduce the impact of fossil fuels and support a transition toward a more sustainable economy. He believes in green energy solutions for the world needs, sharing his insights as a speaker at international conferences and through several published papers. His work was formally recognized in 2010, when he received the “Stella al Merito del Lavoro” award from the President of the Italian Republic, and in 2024 when he got the honorary title of “Senator of the Order of Engineers of Salerno”. Fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, he combines technical expertise with commercial and project management skills, which have enabled him to successfully manage international projects and collaborations. His career has always been guided by a commitment to environmental responsibility, technological innovation, and a deep curiosity for knowledge and sciences in all their forms.
As project manager, I was responsible for delivering complex projects awarded from Clients to my company, with an authority and responsibility given from my top management to run the project from its start till the final hand-over, on a day-to-day basis. I led and managed a dedicated project team, with specialized engineers addressing and coordinating all activities related to POLC (Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling) for engineering, purchasing, production, transport, delivery, installation, commissioning and hand over of the project. I believe it’s essential, for a smooth and trouble-free project execution, at the very beginning of each contract, to: • Define and clarify, with Client and internally, the project scope • Develop the project plan • Develop the project schedule • Develop policies and procedures to support the achievement of the project objectives • Review the costs associated with above points (and possibly optimize them, with an iterative process of above items)
Coordination of operational activities of the company in accordance with policies, strategies and goals set by the Chief Executive Officer and the President. I was also assisting the CEO in the development of policies and growth of all company functions.
