In the frame of my relocation from Milan to L’Aquila (May 2011) to support new Thales Alenia Space PA activities, I have also been appointed Single Point Of Contact towards customer (Thales Alenia Space) for Altran Quality Assurance engineer team currently made-up of three resources. Main task and duties: • Handling of progress meetings between Altran and customer for the several projects and related workpackages under my responsibility; • Business development; • Assessment of external candidates and their eventual introduction to customer to cover new needs; • Annual performance review for team under my responsibility;
As Product Assurance Manager, my mission is to ensure that the Customer's requirements are satisfied. To do so, my role must gather, validate and present to the project's Customer the proof which shows and ensures that the product conforms or will conform to all of its contractual requirements. Beginning of 2011, I’ve been relocated from Milano to L’Aquila site to cover PAM position for the new main space programs (Iridium Next) since its design and development phase. During previous years I’ve been in charge of PA activities for space programs regarding earth observation, microgravity scientific experiment in the International Space Station and navigation business line (GPS unit for ATV program). My work interfaces are the principal european space industries (other Thales Alenia Space companies, EADS Astrium) and European Space Agency. Main duties and responsibilities are: • Negotiate the project product assurance requirements with the Customer; • Define the measures to be introduced to meet the Customer's quality requirements in the quality plan in terms of RAMS, EEE parts quality, radiation, materials and processes quality, production quality (manufacturing and AIT); • Handling of suppliers and subcontractors; • Reporting and handling of Non Conformance Report; • Support for preparation of Request for Deviation, Request for Waiver and Request for Approval; • Identification and monitoring of critical items; • Risk managements with particular focus on risks mitigation actions follow-up; • Check of program documentation in terms of contents and configuration; • Meetings attendance
