I've worked for 6 years in the education industry, first as a teacher, and then as a head teacher. On top of preparing and organizing entertaining lessons, parties and events were among many of the tasks I was assigned. In the national teaching competitions held in 2013 and 2019, I was awarded with the first prize. As a head teacher, I've conducted in-center training, and seminars on a regional scale aimed at improving the overall teaching quality of our staff.
I am currently working as a "Head teacher", meaning that together with my responsibilities as a teacher, I am also taking charge (and care) of our team of foreign teachers. These responsibilities include constant help and supervision, management of our staff to plan and organize parties and events, and the correct use of our resources (human resources included). Together with this, I am also planning weekly meetings to keep everyone updated on the latest policies in the company, and share useful teaching tips and practice.
Working as a teacher includes many diverse responsabilities. First and foremost is the preparation of lesson plans and activities which will be carried out in class. These vary depending on the students' levels, abilities and age. Together with the lesson plans, another important responsability is that of creating (or using already existing) tools to reinforce the teaching. Other than that, the position also involves office work and tasks, which revolve around the use of computers, printers and such.
