Chanteur/Auteur/Compositeur Singer/Songwriter/Performer/ Vincenzo Thoma – De Rome à Montréal (Nouveau spectacle) MUSIQUE DU MONDE A travers des rencontres fascinantes, l’auteur, compositeur et interprète Vincenzo Thoma, raconte dans un français aux acens de la méditerranée, sa route d’immigrant de Rome à Montréal, un premier album tout neuf, sorti en juin 2015. Dans ce spectacle multiculturel, Vincenzo fait également un joli clin d’œil aux chansons qu’il a composé entre autres pour Marie-Élaine Thibert, Bruno Pelletier, Roch Voisine, Lara Fabian, Ima, Giorgia Fumanti et Paul Daraîche et se réapproprie, à sa façon, des grands classiques de la chanson d’ici, dans sa langue natale. Accompagné de deux musiciens chevronnés (guitare et contrebasse), ce voyage musical et multiculturel aux couleurs Jazz, est comme une bouffée d’air frais, empreint de bonheur et d’authenticité.       VINCENZO THOMA's many career accomplishments have established him as a songwriter. Vincenzo is credited with a list of artists from a variety of musical genres. Vincenzo has written songs on more than 30 albums which total in millions of record sales. Many international artists have benefited from Thoma's brand of songwriting, including Lara Fabian, Roch Voisine,Bruno Pelletier, Mia Martini, Filippa Giordano with Un giorno in più, which was classified 2nd place at the Sanremo Festival, Marie Elaine Thibert, Chimène Badi, Ima, Giorgia Fumanti, Paul Daraiche and many more... Vincenzo was born in Rome, Italy. A self-taught musician, he plays piano and guitar He studied law at the Sapienza Università di Roma and holds an MA in Italian literature from McGill University in Montreal. Vincenzo Thoma began his career in Italy as a backup singer, notably for Richard Cocciante. He also sang as part of the Love is the Answer project, a benefit for AIDS victims, alongside Gino Vannelli, Randy Crawford, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Raina Kabaiwanska and Billy Preston. As a singer, Vincenzo performed in Italy as a solo vocalist on the very popular musical program Fantastico, broadcast on the national RAI network in Italy,watched by 12 million viewers every Saturday evening, where he performed major international and Italian hits. Vincenzo also performed as the opening act on Isabelle Boulay’s concert tour in 2000 and 2001.Walt Disney Productions chose him as the singing voice of Aladin in the Italian version of the film. Acclaimed by the public at large, his performance at the Sanremo Music Festival was also unanimously hailed by critics.
