My fascination with leadership and organizational culture began early. I grew up surrounded by international perspectives. My father worked for the European Space Agency, and our family circle included people from across Europe, the United States, the Far East, and Australia. Those formative years taught me that leadership is always shaped by the interplay between who people are and the cultural context in which they operate. That curiosity led me not only into leadership development, but also into academic research. My PhD explored the relationship between leadership, organizational culture, and meaning-making, with particular attention to how power, values, and identity intersect in complex environments. The tension between a leader’s personal convictions and organizational expectations remains central to my work. Over the years, my career has stayed internationally oriented. I have worked with leaders across sectors and cultures, and I continue to value long-term professional relationships and dialogue across boundaries. In every engagement, I draw on this combined perspective — personal, academic, and practical — to help leaders navigate complexity, remain anchored in what matters, and lead with clarity and courage. I see leadership not as a role or a destination, but as a human journey. A continuous process of becoming more purposeful, more authentic, and more connected to others and to the legacy one leaves behind.
