  Bridges is a J2EE based eligibility application developed for the welfare division of DHS Michigan. Serving as a developer, I shared the responsibility of implementing policy changes, and supporting the eligibility determination and benefit computation Module of the Bridges Application. I helped with the technical implementation of the new Job Employment Training (JET) initiative of the State of Michigan, which was designed to save the local government, tens of millions of dollars over the next few years, while providing a path out of poverty to millions of citizens. As part of a group of 3 developers and analysts, I also designed and released iPLAN, a lightweight APEX based project management and resource tracking tool that allows the efficient allocation and management of human resources.
