My tasks: - Responsible for the administration, coordination, application process and management of research projects - Scouting of existing and emerging technologies with subsequent analysis according to their threat potential to current technologies, challenges, opportunities and research approaches - Development & shaping of a research & partner network with associated networking of the company at trade fairs, symposia, social media or similar - Research, analysis, evaluation & creation of decision bases for strategy, as well as business, business field & product development and development of a business case based on the results - Evaluation & optimisation of internal and external processes - Management, coordination and realisation of the companies representation at trade fairs, conferences, symposia etc. - Responsible for the companies marketing via homepage, brochures, presentations, etc.
- Supporting the management in strategic decisions - Forming research and innovation approaches for the development of unique selling points and new business areas - Being well informed about the state of the art, challenges, opportunities and problems of our customers' industry (battery, fuel cell, printed electronics) and our own - Intermediary between the process technology, sales, design, management and customer departmens - Balancing process, component and product requirements with the customer wishes and economic efficiency
- Conducting coating & drying experiments and feasibility studies in many different fields, including battery, fuel cell, polymers and packaging. - Analysis and presentation of results to optimise processes. - Creation and adaptation of software tools (Excel, Python) to automate steps, calculation and analysis.
