Telindus, my team was involved in building Mobistar Mobile (GSM) network. My job description included installation, configuration and testing of base stations (BTS) and BSC's. Later in this process, we became responsible for BTS and BSC field operations. Ericsson, I became responsible for transmission equipment (micro-wave and dxx) including management systems. One year later, my team joined the organization in Rijen (Netherlands) and I became part of the BSS / OSS group supporting mainly management systems on SUN hardware. We offered 2th line application, OS and hardware support to mobile operators in the Benelux ( KPN, O2, Libertel, Vodafone, Tango, BASE, Belgacom, Mobistar) and we had project involvement.
