In my role as Head of HR, I partnered closely with senior leadership across an international organization, translating organizational priorities into practical people strategies. I am an HR leader who is passionate about working in mission-driven organisations. For more than 15 years, I have worked at the intersection of people, strategy and organisational development, believing that great HR is about much more than policies and processes—it is about enabling people and organisations to thrive. In my current role as HR Team Manager at the Dutch Animal Protection Society (Dierenbescherming), I work alongside a dedicated and talented HR team to build a future-proof HR organisation. Together, we support managers and employees in areas such as organisational development, employment law, absence management, talent development, leadership and organisational culture. Before joining Dierenbescherming, I spent 15 years as Head of HR at PharmAccess, an international organisation committed to improving access to healthcare across Africa. Working in an international environment with complex organisational challenges and a strong social mission has shaped me into the HR professional I am today.
