Saipem are contracted by Woodside for transport & installation (of the 430km export trunkline, including fabrication & installation of line structures & pipeline end termination for the Scarborough LNG Project, & they are using the Castorone DP3 Pipelay Vessel. Working onboard the Castorone DP3 Pipelay Vessel, my core role duties included (but were not limited to): ► Assembling & securing advanced rigging systems to facilitate the safe lifting & movement of the following equipment by 600T main crane, 2 x 110t pipe h&ling floating cranes, 35t offshore knuckle boom, 30t pedestal & 5t gantry cranes: ☛ Piping, bins, half & full heights, stores, containers & subsea modules, as well as decantering of fuel from supply vessel to the Castorone, & deployment & retrieval of main pipeline to the seabed using A/R 910t winch ☛ Operation & rigging of the Billy Pugh (people transfer device) between vessels ► Using FSWR slings, shackles, pulleys, winches, safety nets, chain & level blocks, come-a-longs, tirfors, spreader bars, pipe hooks & taglines, as well as de-reeving & re-reeving luffing ropes, & assembling & disassembling catenary, floating, interior hung, swing-stage, multilevel, needle beam, single-point adjustable, frame & ladder jack scaffolding systems ► Assisting with lift studies, plans & risk assessments, scoping work fronts, reviewing work packs, conducting heavy lift calculations, determining safe lifting methods, dual lifts, & complying with permit requirements (same for all below role) ► Conducting daily inspections to ensure the integrity & safe operability of cranes, rigging, scaffolding & rope access equipment prior to use, & reporting any faults (same for all cranes & rigging roles below) ► Working collaboratively with supervisors, trades teams, peers, & client representatives for an integrated approach, & creating positive & helpful relationships (same for all roles below) ► Assisting tradespersons in lower deck welding stations for pipe adjustments & lifts.

Production from Chevron’s offshore TVI (Thevenard Island) oil and gas assets has ceased, and Legineering is assisting with decommissioning of these offshore oil and gas assets. Working onboard the Eastern WB400 (a MODU-certified heavy lift barge with a 300t main crane and 20t auxiliary crane) as an Advanced Rigger and Scaffolder, my core role duties included (but were not limited to): ► Assembling and securing advanced rigging and scaffolding systems, and using engineered rigging and scaffolding methods for safe decommissioning of 3 offshore tripod platforms, 6 monopods and subsea infrastructure (including mechanical and piping), as well as loading removed/decommissioned materials onto the Henderson Barge, and Permit to Work Recipient ► Working safely under site HSE and PTW systems, following all risk assessments and safe work instructions (e.g. JSA’s, JHA’s, Start Cards etc.), identifying and controlling hazards, and holding meaningful safety interactions (same for all roles above and below) ► Using heavy lift spreader bars, FSWR and soft slings, chains, shackles, tirfors, lever hoists, chain blocks, heavy lift beam clamps and beam trollies for safe lifting of heavy equipment, and assembling and dismantling tube and clip scaffolds ► Using various slinging techniques for dogging operations, and guiding crane operators during heavy lifts via clear and concise hand and radio communications (same for all cranes and rigging roles below).
