Manage and help a group of about 30 students during lab experiments; this included explaining the experimental setups and fixing faulty ones. I was also responsible for grading their lab reports.
Provide support to the senior technologist and research director for the linear accelerator used for mass spectrometry. In other words, help with maintenance of the machine, install and calibrate new parts and design new components when necessary. When I arrived, a new injection line was proposed for the linear accelerator; this project occupied most of my time at the Advanced Research Complex.
