The economic transition fund is a 10 mln€ investment vehicle funded by the Brussels Region supporting the transition of the Brussels-based companies towards a reduction of their carbon footprint. The fund aims both at mature companies with best-in-class projects for that matter and innovative start-ups developing solutions to help other companies reduce their footprint. Role : Managing the fund from A to Z : - Design of investment parameters and goals definition - Sourcing of deals - Assessment of investment opportunities - Organization of investment committees and presentation of investment opportunities - Closing of deals - Portfolio management & reporting
My role covers the whole investment process : from networking & sourcing, investment opportunities assessment (loan, convertible, capital), investment committee, to contracting & portfolio management. Portfolio of >25 companies Board member within > 10 companies
