They have ranged from political articles regarding the opinions of Belarusian youth on a possible boycott of the ice hockey world championships in Minsk, all the way to human interest stories concerning Finnish and Swedish medical and veterinary students in Estonia.
Covering all aspects of the relations between the EU and the countries of Central Asia. Acting as Executive Secretary during EU-third country treaty negotiations, producing research on bilateral relations between Central Asian states.
I trained as a junior civil servant at the Permanent mission of Finland to the OSCE. My tasks included reporting on the meetings of the OSCE Permanent Council, EU coordination meetings and other intergovernmental bodies, as well as drafting background memoranda, official statements etc.
Processed applications in the Alien Affairs Unit, regarding citizenship, residence permit and passport issues. My tasks also included advising customers on Finnish and Schengen area immigration legislation.
