Designing inventive outdoor spaces and building community.
THe Resource Center provides resources for the the LGBTQ+ community. I volunteered at the food party and the hot meals program. Both programs help clients meet their nutritional needs on a weekly basis. At the food pantry I focused on checking client eligibility, help complete shopping, restocking the food pantry, and ensure clients are taking the correct amount items. At the hot meals cafeteria I help with cooking nutritional meals, setting up the cafeteria to meet client needs, serving meals, and cleaning up after clients have eaten their meals.
