I am an experienced print shop technician and supervisor with a proven record of improving business efficiency by assessing systems, evaluating needs, and providing solutions. Currently, I am attending Liberty University, and am looking for part-time work in ministry or in an administrative type of position.
As a print shop technician, it was my job to print signs, mount signs to substrates, grommet or weld signs or banners, answer phones, respond to emails, help customers with their inquiries, quality inspect finished products, keep track of the shop inventory, write invoices, follow up on late payments, organize files and implement organized systems, and clean and organize the shop at the end of the day, along with any other duties assigned by my supervisor.
In my starting position, I provided general administrative and clerical support for the previous print shop supervisor and printing support for the campus staff. A year and a half later, I was promoted to the supervisor position, where I then oversaw and ran the print shop department and its employees and volunteers. In the supervisory position, my responsibilities included, but weren’t limited to, overseeing the department workflow, coordinating work with employees and volunteers, researching and implementing new methods of shop efficiency and machines and programs, establishing department regulations and policies, reorganizing the departments files (electronic and paper), scheduling the main campus’ rooms for meetings and events, data entry (including budgets, reports, updating forms, and loggings print jobs in excel), as well as the department’s administrative and campus printing support side of things.
As the production project manager for this YouTube channel, it was my job to make sure that the videos were correctly filmed from beginning to end. This usually involved setup/tear down of equipment, camera operation, cutting and editing video, adjusting audio, creation of graphics and sound files, and occasionally setting up interviews. I was involved in every part of the video creation process.
As a café associate, it was my job to serve customers, run the register, handle food preparation and cooking, restock displays and soda machines, clean the inside and outside of the café, and perform any other duties as assigned by my manager.
