An articulate and influential IT Manager with over 20 years cumulative experience in all areas of Automotive Industry IT requirements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills utilised to act as main interface between operational teams and Senior Management and Directors, developing crucial relationships both internally and externally. Able to respond efficiently and innovatively to rapid change, manage transition and take a strategic approach to new ideas. Adopting a collaborative management style, coaching and mentoring a team through robust and methodical leadership to consistently deliver high levels of solution-focused performance. Initially joined the Group as a Commercial Trainee in the MIS department and progressed through a variety of roles and now hold a Senior Managers position.
In this role, I'll be responsible for leading and managing ICT across 11 countries in Europe, working closely with business and technology teams to support transformation, standardisation, and the effective use of data and digital solutions across our National Sales Companies.
Supporting all the UK brands under Stellantis towards the group’s strategy and helping deliver new IT solutions that support our business.
Heading up the “BIS” team who are responsible for project conception, creation, and industrialisation. The area of responsibility covers all IT delivery to the UK brands and responsibilities in : o Project Management Office (PMO) - responsible for providing a PM service for all business areas, assuring the correct implementation & maintenance of group & local applications; acting as a primary liaison with the business area. It also includes technical PM responsibilities - external hosting technologies, DBA activities and supporting the development team with migration and upgrade activities on all OS platforms o Development Team - who create and maintain applications to support the UK business and provide the required business functionality; includes technical liaison for the projects managed in the PMO and other international development teams. o Integration - industrialise and integrate any local developments, using scripting, scheduling, and automation services and managing local UK based hosting services.
Responsible for a variety of development teams from Web to Client Server including support for the deployment environments for each technology. Continued support for both brands Peugeot and Citroen including all central functions. In addition providing support for the retail teams and Motaquip. LAMP, .Net, MS-SQL Server, Windows 2003, Share Point
