Experienced master mariner with 25 years within the oil and gas industry. Various experience from shuttle tankers, LNG and FPSO's. Last 10 years have had the role as Offshore installation Manager working on FPSO's located in UK and Brazillian waters. Strongly believe in team work and this achieved by having an open communication contact/ cooperation with the crew and onshore organisation / client to ensure that we work against the same goal. Keeping a creative and effective approach to every challenge focusing on problem solving and always keeping safety as a priority.
• The highest authority onboard and accountable for the overall safety/work-related activities of the vessel during operation. Also accountable for all surface and sub-sea activities within the FPSO’s 500 m safety zone. • Ensuring that all day-to-day activities are carried out in a safe and healthy manner according to company HSEQ policies. Additionally confirming that they are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations and all contractual requirements. • Accountable for the health, safety and welfare of all personnel on board the vessel promoting a positive open safety culture. Also making sure that all accidents and incidents are investigated, and actions implemented as appropriate. • Provide leadership, set accountabilities and expectations for all members of the offshore management team, delegating responsibilities when required. Work with the onshore team, Asset Manager and client to deliver safe operations. • Ensure sufficient and competent manning of the installation and support necessary learning and development for all positions. • Monitor the working environment and act on any HSEQ, personnel and employee relation issues. • Oversee the arrangements to ensure the ongoing integrity of the installation. • Monitor and control asset expenditure to support delivery of projects within budget. • Promote and protect the reputation of the asset. • Directs and leads the Emergency Response Team (ERT) during emergencies and ensure Offshore Emergency Response capability through training and regular exercises.

• Was responsible for all marine, vendor and subcontractor activities on the installation. Ensuring compliance with safe work procedures and ‘control of work’ in accordance with procedures. • Ensured adequate team competency at all times to carry out safe operations by assessing marine personnel within the Competency Management System. • Supervised cargo transfer to shuttle tanker, fiscal metering. • Responsible for installation station keeping whilst maintaining the installation’s stability at all times. • Supervised loading and unloading of supplies and equipment. Ensure that the structural loads whilst moored or transit do not exceed the maximum permissible load for the vessel. • Monitor planned maintenance backlog all safety critical and environmental maintenance completed on time, in accordance with asset performance standards. • Taking part in permit risk assessment, active monitoring, tool box talks and worksite audits. • Participate and lead in incident investigations. • Perform duties as instructed by the OIM. • Ensure materials management process for spares / stock levels and consumables is effective.
