We were formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses. Lead a team of both technical and administrative staff, overseeing the strategic implementation and management of the city’s enterprise IT, communications, video and access control systems and networks. Developed and direct transformational IT project plans aimed at reducing inefficiency and cost, as well as improving client satisfaction with services and communication. Allocate the expenditure of a $4.6m+ IT budget, and control equipment and security across 24 locations. Highlights: Spearheaded multiple initiatives focused upon improving efficiency and reducing costs through technology integration and upgrades. Deploying Virtual Desktop Infrastructure ($120k expected annual savings), with an ROI of 35% during the first year of implementation. Consolidated three internal IT entities into a single cohesive unit ($250k annual savings), utilizing a single ITIL and Service Desk. Project Manager for all migrations, including ERPs, utility billing, active directory, Citrix VDI solutions, various infrastructure upgrades, disaster recovery, and customer service ($480k annual savings). Saved an average of ~12% on technology costs through negotiations. Developed the Cybersecurity Policies and Incident Response Plans to meet NERC/BPU compliance.
Working alongside Director of Information Systems / CIO, provided strategic analysis and supervision of daily operations for department and staff. Measured team performance both quantitatively and qualitatively, providing mentorship and training to group on an ongoing basis. Highlights: Designed the city’s data network and active directory. Project Leader for several initiatives: migration from Novell Network to Windows 2000 Active Directory; migration from Novell Groupwise to MS Exchange 2000; MS Exchange 2000 to 2007 upgrade; migration from ERSI GIS system to MS Access Based system in SQL; and migrated communications infrastructure from a 3Com/Cisco mixed environment to an Extreme Networks solution Oversaw the move of physical servers to a virtual environment, and later upgrading that environment from VMware to Hyper-V. EARLIER CAREER at City of Vineland - pre 2000 Network Administrator, Network Administrator’s Assistant, Computer Service Technician, and Data Processing Programmer. Worked in a multitude of other industries and field some of which includes Real Estate, Sales, Construction, Health Care and Electric Generation.
