Accurately and thoroughly document the Ophthalmologist’s patient-provider interactions as they are being performed and document in the Nextgen EMR system. Educate the patient regarding testing, procedures, prescription instructions. Aseptically prepare examination and procedure rooms, provide all needed medications, forms, consents and educational materials. Assist in the efficient movement/flow of patients through sequence and evaluation. Medically assist the doctor through the patient examination.
