I now have the understanding of both the hub and the member. This means I can relay my knowledge of the hub to my team here at C.S.Ellis Group Ltd and Visa Versa. This is valuable experience which helps me to broaden my concept of the day to day operations of a network member.
Working at DX Business Direct gave me my first taste of Logistics. I was attracted to the quick moving and continuously changing business environment. Logistics needs to be controlled to provide the most efficient and effective operation for customer. DX Business Direct created a service that fit the needs of the engineers, whereby they woke up in the morning to the parts they needed for work that day. This tailor made company gave me the understanding of how to focus on your customer audience and how to fit their requirements to the best of your ability. Left to work in Dubai before University as I wanting to experience working in different environments. Furthermore, working in the UAE gave me the opportunity to experience other cultures and ways of working.
