I'm a creative, ambitious and experienced Product Manager with over 14years experience within the interiors and window furnishings industry. I have managed several successful product launches across different brands which include all aspects from project management, fabric sourcing and development, range building, design development, photography production, budgeting, pricing, art direction and trend and competitor research. All key areas to bring a product to launch. This has all led me to have strong product knowledge and understanding of the industry.
Product Manager lead for the Softs category: selecting ranges, developing textile fabrics with suppliers and bringing these to launch. Specialising in roman blinds, curtains and accessories. Working on B2C and B2B brands within the company. Collaborative projects include working with brands Poodle & Blonde, Margo Selby, Abigail Ahern, House Beautiful magazine and designer Charlotte Beevor.
• Project Management, range Building, fabric sourcing and design development for the core range and capsule ranges dealing with third party collaborations. • Preparing and launching my own designs for Hillary’s first exclusive designer roman blind and curtain collection, ‘Country Retreat’ by Victoria Robinson AW13. Featured in Elle Decoration and other interior magazines. Along with other softs fabric launches including the House Beautiful collection: Origins & Global Textures. These projects have allowed me to have been part of every part of bringing a collection to launch: • Following a critical path, liaising, briefing and sourcing from worldwide suppliers, deciding final designs and colour ways and colour stories. • Knowledge of product development: print weave and embroidery manufacturing processes. • Planning these into a sample book and choosing the cutting plan and fabric names. • Art Direction: Planned, briefed and art direction on the collection photo-shoot and a variety of launch photography for products and campaigns. • Launch event - planning the display, styling and presenting the collection and the story behind the designs to the visitors and bloggers attending. • Researching fashion and innterior trends, creating mood boards to present trends and concepts to the product and marketing team. This led me to assist choosing the product choice for the Ideal Home Exhibition 2013-2015 and Grand Designs, NEC 2014, BBSA 2015. Also assisting on Product choice for national concession stands, pop up shops and bloggers event displays and room arrangement. • Planning and Art directing photo-shoots and campaign photography. • Strong product knowledge by working closely with members in the product team on other products. • Working closely with the buying team. • Project liaison and project management.
• Working with the export display manager assisting towards the seasonal Sales Briefing Event for Designers Guild’s Spring/Summer 13 collection as well as Sales Briefings by William Yeoward and Christian Lacroix. • Helped the team organise and put together the Head office showroom and prepare fabrics for the presentations.
Developing my own designs and producing a Premium Curtain Collection. This included trend, competitor and colour research as well as creating mood boards for photography styling ideas going towards photoshoots. Loading with suppliers and collegues. Working within the Product Studio assisting Product Managers on Daily tasks as well as assisting on a lifestyle and studio photo shoot.
