    • Senior Insight & Analysis Manager
      Nov 2015 - Feb 2017 · 1 yr 4 mos

I led two operational teams within CRUK's Volunteer Fundraising department: 1. Insight & Analysis I developed a team who delivered genuinely useful management information that was actively used across the department to shape decisions and enable us to hit our income growth targets. Historically the team produced large volumes of data that wasn't understood or well used. I turned this around, designing a suite of simple, insightful reports that enabled the team to understand their pipelines and make strategic decisions. Alongside this I set the strategy for how the department handles and uses supporter data and ensured that we had the right data systems and processes to meet our needs. 2. Research & Acquisition I designed, recruited and established a new Research & Acquisition Team. I set the strategy for the team and engaged stakeholders across the business to lay the ground work for the team's success. Within their first 6 months the team added over £2m value to the department's pipeline. Through expert prospect research and rigorous qualification, the team enabled our fundraisers to build strong new supporter relationships across the UK with companies and individuals. This was the first time prospect research techniques had been applied in a community fundraising environment and it was exciting to see the results I was able to deliver in a short space of time. We drove pipeline value, sped up acquisition, and maximised the value of fundraising opportunities,
