As the founder of Subject Matter Company, my journey began over two decades ago as a freelance writer, collaborating with organisations and dynamic agencies to craft content that addressed our clients' unique needs. Over the years, I’ve developed a comprehensive portfolio that includes: - developing content for corporate training and team empowerment, - writing documentary treatments and scripts, - managing and coordinating various projects from events to video productions, - creating pitch documents that secured production fundings, - crafting corporate and organisational documents, profiles, press releases and speeches, and - curating and managing social media for events. These experiences, along with the recent completion of my Undergraduate Diploma in Creative Writing at University of Oxford and my certification as a trainer under HRD Corp Malaysia, have enabled me to integrate creativity with strategy while focusing on aligning my content with project objectives and clients' specific needs. The learning never ends, though, as I am currently pursuing my Master of Studies in Writing for Performance at University of Cambridge as a part of my growth journey of active engagement in the field to share ideas and learn from like-minded passionate tutors and colleagues of diverse background, culture and experience. With my passion in learning and the English language, I am now on a mission to impart my knowledge and skills to those who are passionate about lifelong learning and self-development. I teach English to learners of all ages, customising lessons and modules to their proficiency level, learning ability and pace, and purpose. I see every project - be it professional, academic or leisure - as a new opportunity for empowering life stories that inspire growth to create meaningful change, echoing Subject Matter Company's purpose of 'sharing stories, connecting lives'.
