Being able to translate business requirements into IT solutions, I have participated and also led IT teams in a number of multidisciplinary IT projects. Being an Agilist as well as a Lean Black Belt, I'm always trying to improve delivery performance ensuring a group of highly motivated individuals, and support the creation of a self-reliant organisation. Responsible for the IT center of expertise for the roll out of Rhenus global WMS in Denmark, Netherlands and United Kingdom.
Responsible for all IT related operations for Warehousing Solutions in the Netherlands.
Business Alignment between IT and different Business Units. Coordinating with offshore and external partners for the development of new and existing applications.
Responsible for the "IT - Business Delivery Services" Team. Design and implement IT solutions for external and internal clients within Rhenus’ contract logistics facilities in Tilburg and Eindhoven. Projects range in complexity and scale, yet succesfully managed through our high quality implementation methodology . Involving one ore more business applications such as interface integration (EDI) with external systems, configuration; and set up of WMS, TMS, Document Output, ERP connectivity, Reporting, Customer Portal solutions, among others. I also take part in (pre)Sales Cycles together with Business Development, creating budget and project timelines. Advising potential customers on Rhenus capabilities. I am also someone very social who enjoys interaction with other departments with the aim to create synergies with the IT department. My relationships within Rhenus extend beyond our local offices, establishing relationships with departments of other Rhenus divisions, including Corporate IT and regional offices (Germany, Asia).
Designing, Implementing and Supporting Warehouse Management Systems and Business Intelligence solutions projects in the EMEA region. Functional design, implementation and support of Manhattan SCALE. Reports design and development in Crystal Reports and Zebra Language. IBM Cognos report and data model design and development. Systems integration (e.g ERP, TMS) and MHE systems (e.g. Palletizer, Sorter, Conveyor)
