• Founder and CEO of nonprofit agency • Ensure ongoing local programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems; recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals • Develop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Directors: serve as ex-officio of each committee, seek and build board involvement with strategic direction for both ongoing local operations as well as for the national rollout • Ensure effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluate program components, so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other constituents
Assist the director in the development, implementation and coordination of the FYE program high impact practices and its targeted activities to eradicate achievement gaps and improve the academic success, persistence and completion of participating students. Develop programming that acclimates the incoming freshman and second year students with the University. Develop and implement program policy and procedures for recruitment, training, and matching of mentors and mentees. Communicate with school personnel, and community organizations on behalf of agency Identify, evaluate and propose solutions to program areas that need special attention
