Voluntary / Education Experience. Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (full-time, temporary, voluntary) A four week conservation programme based in Auckland, New Zealand. Tasks included habitat creation, removing invasive and non-native species, helping to maintain protected areas of native woodland and helping school groups and local businesses in their tree planting exercises. Community Forest Project MSc Thesis: To assess the extent to which the Community Forest Programme is able to combine community involvement with conservation in order to maximise both environmental and social benefits. Project included: literature searching, interviewing members of the public, establishing and maintaining contact with stakeholders. Skills included: project management, working to deadlines, organisation, self-motivation and the ability to work in a variety of conditions. Sustainable Coppice Partnership (part-time, temporary, voluntary) Casual volunteer work to assist in administration activities and woodland site surveys. Environmental Champion for WSP Environment and Energy (part-time, voluntary) Responsibilities: Contribute to the creation and promotion of sustainable practices within WSP. Water Quality Assessment Project. BSc Dissertation, in collaboration with Thames Water Authority. Project included: Data collection, statistical analysis, critiquing current management practices, following stringent health and safety regulations, respecting the local environment.

Main Role: Support the Customer Relationship Manager and Bureau Services Lead in providing an excellent and proactive service to our customers. Manage and develop a team of Customer Relationship Assistants and Data Analysts ensuring that all KPI measures are met. In addition to supporting the organisation’s corporate Environment Policy by complying with relevant environmental legislation and carrying out your duties in an environmentally responsible manner.
Main responsibilities include: Manage and maintain customer accounts. Duties include everything from dataset start up through to data acquisition, reporting and analysis of monthly / annual energy consumption and charges. I currently hold a variety of accounts under my portfolio, including Local Authorities, Police Crime Commissioners, Private Companies and NHS Trusts, all of which have unique requirements and challenges. I have also recently become the Environmental Representative for LASER where as part of a team we work toward improving the environmental credentials of Commercial Services and ensuring the company upholds it's environmental and social responsibilities.
Working as part of the customer service team, my role includes negotiating sales, processing payments, and ensuring that the customer is fully satisfied with their purchase. As this is a front line position, solving queries and potential problems either on the phone or via email form large part of the role. Working to strict deadline and towards various targets are also vital skills required in this role.
As a valued member of the Business Support Team it is my role to help and support the safeguarding of childen within the Education and Children's Services division of Bromley Council. Supporting a team of 40+ Social Workers and their Managers in administrative tasks and office duties which included taking phone calls and messages, typing confidential and highly sensitive documents, minute taking, authorising petty cash/finance, organising staff schedules, maintaining and updating weekly statistics reports and other ad hoc duties requested by both Managers and Social Workers.
Working as part of the Pharmaceutical Permanent Recruitment Team, specialising in placing Senior level SAS Programmers, Statisticians and Data Managers into the Healthcare / Life Sciences sector. A fast paced and challenging environment to work in, this role demanded tenacity, determination, exceptional organisation and ambition to drive business. The ability to be proactive, work on own initiative, arrange and attend meetings and marketing functions across the country, was also required. This was a very client facing role where confidence, and the ability to communicate, develop and maintain working relationships was essential.
