About

I’m a final-year medical student with a deep passion for surgery, driven by a special interest in orthopaedic & trauma, spine and neurosurgery. I’m particularly fascinated by the role of AI and VR in advancing surgical practice. My experience includes AI-driven imaging research, curriculum development for NHS England and leading the Women in Surgery Society. I am passionate about multidisciplinary research that connects fundamental scientific discoveries with real-world medical applications. My focus lies in translating lab-based insights into innovative therapies, diagnostics and clinical procedures. I’m particularly interested in areas such as injury mechanisms, biomarkers, neuroprotection, neurodegeneration, multiple sclerosis, targeted therapies, treatment outcomes, complications, biosensing, non-invasive techniques and rehabilitation. My broader goal is to contribute to research that improves human health by reducing disease incidence, morbidity and mortality. I believe in the “bench to bedside” approach, bringing laboratory breakthroughs into clinical trials and patient care and equally value the “bedside to practice” philosophy, which emphasizes the rapid implementation of evidence-based practices within healthcare systems. Excited to explore innovation and research in surgery, let’s connect!
