This role requires management of the admissions,/marketing, student services,, facilities, café, flight dispatch & studies departments across 2 campuses (2 buildings in different locations) of a private piloting school. Responsabilities include; Admissions,/Marketing Creating budgets for social media, travel (local schools & overseas) to recruit students. Overseeing marketing materials for potential students & for newly admitted students. Managing branding team in creating new merchandise for selling in the front display windows. Student Services Creating budgets for student piloting kits, academic books & uniforms. Leading the team who oversees the advancement of students in both academic theory classes & flights. Supervise the scheduling of theory classes, the instructors teaching the classes & the materials needed. Facilities Creating budgets for facilities maintenance (cleaning, repairs, renovations & installations on simulators), office supplies, photocopiers, furniture & I.T budget for computer equipment & accessories. Managing cleaning crews, construction & installation teams as well as ramp staff (tarmac). Café Creating budgets for food & beverage for a café that is available to staff, students & open to the public. Nuturing the partnership with Starbucks (café uses Starbucks products & branding, but is run by the school staff). Flight Dispatch Creating budgets for the flight dispatch department. Managing the flight dispatch supervisor & overseeing the implementation of safety procedures. Studies Department Creating budgets for the studies department for core subject materials (books), teachers (French, English, Philosophy) for students in the DEC program. Managing administrative staff that enters all grades & personal information into the Minister of Education platform.
Managed the operations of 11 corporate offices globally Vancouver (BC), Toronto (ON), Montreal (QC), Washington (DC), New York City (NY), Las Vegas (NV), Seattle (WA), Warsaw (Poland), Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), London (England) & Ukraine (now closed). My home base is the Montreal (Quebec) office.
-Supervise onboard activity by passengers & crew members & provide crew support & guidance. -Conduct daily crew meetings. -Monitor crew strengths & weaknesses & provide crew coaching when necessary. -Manage & control escalated passengers. -Handle company, employee & passenger confidential & sensitive documents & information. -Schedule training sessions & refresher courses. -Provide support, leadership & guidance to individual inflight crew members.
Oversee all departments (human resources, payroll, customer service, fraud, warehouse & sales departments). Conduct bi-weekly staff meetings. Manage office budget & purchasing supplies & furniture as needed. Approve client invoices. Assist manufacturers with questions & inquiries. Manage escalated customer service calls. Handle confidential & sensitive documents and information. Arrange training sessions.
