The company was founded by Ambassador Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Ischinger, former chairman of the Munich Security Conference. Headquartered in Munich and with operating offices in Berlin, Paris, and Brussels, the firm collaborates with a network of over 300 advisors, policy experts, and fellows worldwide.
• Oversight of the country offices in Brussels, Paris, London, Rome, Athens and Washington D.C. • Programmatic leadership and financial/administrative/HR steering (17 staff) • Thematic lead on European policy issues and transatlantic relations • Consulting of political representatives and CDU/CSU-party on EU and US policy • Representative tasks at high-level events: e.g. the MSC's women's breakfast with Hillary Clinton and Kaja Kallas • Moderator and speaker at public events with government representatives and MPs
• Quality control and strategic planning for development and dialogue projects • Advisory to HSF management on the implementation of M&E results • Coordination of evaluations of Kyrgyzstan, Tunisia, South Africa, Albania, Mongolia and Russia
• Heading an EU-funded action to strengthen human rights • Responsibility for activities, reporting, budget (~1 Mio €) and HR (7 staff) • Coordination of the partner network and political network • Analysis of the political situation in Uganda
• Management of an EU-funded action on democratic governance and accountability • Oversight of project cycle management, budget (600.000€), and activities • Policy advisory to the Office of the Prime Minister and local governments
• Planning and coordination of projects on political education, security, good governance and political participation • Research, writing and editing of political reports, policy papers and funding applications • Liaison with UN organisations (UN WOMEN, UNHCR), ministries, NGOs and local partners
