I lead Technology and Operations at IITM CDOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation — a quantum communication research thematic hub established under India's National Quantum Mission (NQM) at IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai. In this role, I am responsible for building the operational foundation that enables cutting-edge quantum research to happen — from standing up cleanroom and photonics lab infrastructure to establishing program governance frameworks, systems, and compliance structures aligned with DST and NQM requirements. I also oversee entrepreneurship development and human resource development programs that support India's emerging quantum ecosystem. Across 22+ years in engineering program governance, I have built shared capability centers, led cross-institutional delivery programs, and established governance frameworks that translate complex R&D objectives into structured, accountable execution. At Emerson Innovation Center, I led engineering centers serving multiple global business units. At Brane Enterprises, I established multi-institution governance for UAV, robotics, and IoT programs involving defense and regulatory compliance ecosystems. What I bring to the quantum domain is not physics — it is the operational discipline to build organizations that allow world-class physics to happen: procurement systems that meet GFR compliance, team structures that support postdocs and fresh engineers alike, governance rhythms that keep DST milestones on track, and partnership frameworks that connect academia, industry, and government.
